Passive of different sentences
ਜੇਕਰ Active voice ਦੇ ਵਾਕ modals ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਣ ਤਾ helping verb ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ be ਹੀ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। Modals ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ। ਜਿਵੇਂ:-
| Active voice | Passive voice |
| You should write a letter. | A letter should be written by you. |
| She can cook the food. | The food can be cooked by her. |
| Radha must learn English. | English must be learnt by Radha. |
Imperative Sentences
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਦੇਸ਼, ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ,ਸਲਾਹ ਆਦਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਏ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਾਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। Order / command ਵਾਲੇ sentences. ਜਿਵੇਂ

ਕੁੱਝ ਵਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ request ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ passive voice You are requested to ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਵੇਂ

| Please show me your tickets. | You are requested to show me your tickets |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ passive voice ਬਣਾਉਣ ਸਮੇਂ should be ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ:-

| Love your country. | Your country should be loved. |
| Love the kids. | The kids should be loved. |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋ ਸਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ you are advised to ਲਗਾ ਕੇ passive voice ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ

| Do yoga daily. | You are advised to do yoga daily. |
| Do not drink. | You are advised not to drink. |
